Greenpeace

project overview

The Greenpeace campaign addresses plastic pollution in the oceans by reframing the human body as both a consumer and a victim. Inspired by packaging and editorial fashion imagery, the visuals critique mass consumption while highlighting the suffocating impact of plastic waste.

project type

Art Direction

The campaign targets a broad public audience desensitized to environmental messaging. The challenge was to make plastic pollution feel immediate and personal by reframing the human body as both consumer and victim of waste. Inspired by packaging and editorial fashion photography, the art direction uses distorted compositions, tangled materials, and ironic typography to provoke discomfort. The “U Suck” image mirrors disposable consumer goods, while “We are Choking” image visualizes marine entanglement, functioning as visual disruptions that demand accountability.
